Congressional staff-only
During this off-the-record briefing, congressional staff will have the opportunity to openly discuss policies and engage with experts on the status of the individual health insurance market. Panelists will describe the impact of policy changes on accessibility and affordability of health insurance sold on the individual market, which includes repealing the individual mandate, suspending cost-sharing reduction and risk adjustment payments, and expanding access to association health plans.
The panel will also feature state insurance commissioners who will discuss their efforts to enhance the stability of their states’ exchanges.
